Stolt Sea Farms – Turbot and Sole Prices Remain Firm

Stolt-Nielsen Limited has reported unaudited results for the second quarter and first half of 2022. The Company reported a second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of $58.6 million, with revenue of $689.1 million, compared with a net profit of $52.3 million, with revenue of $606.2 million, in the first quarter.

The Stolt Sea Farm part of the business reported an operating profit, before fair value adjustment of biomass, of $4.7 million compared with $6.5 million, reflecting lower turbot volumes sold following the seasonally strong first quarter, while sales prices for both turbot and sole remained firm.

Meanwhile, Stolt Sea Farm recenty launched its products into supermarket chain Casino France. Their Prodemar™ turbot portions and fillets, round turbot (sizes 600-800gr and 1.0-1.5kg) and round sole (size 200-300gr) are now in stock at 230 supermarkets throughout France.

Recipes in French will also be available, helping customers prepare tasty meals that showcase the quality and flavour of their seafood.
