Surge in Demand for Tickets

Surge in demand for tickets for the UK Seafood Summit 2018

Have you got one of the hottest tickets in town?

A surge in demand for tickets to the UK Seafood Summit has seen extra tickets released for the event, which is organised by Seafish, the public body that supports the £10bn UK seafood industry.

Due to its popularity more tickets have been released, which will make the summit one of the hottest seafood events in the country when it opens in 12 days.

The two-day summit opens on Wednesday 17th October with an afternoon networking event, followed by a Seafood Fayre showcasing seafood from the region and around the UK. The conference takes place the following day on Thursday 18th October looking at issues around Brexit, consumer trends and the responsible sourcing.

Seafish took the decision to move the event to the larger capacity venue Forest Pines Hotel near Scunthorpe in response to increasing demands for places. 150 more delegates will be able to attend this year and the whole programme will be held in one location.

Chief Executive Marcus Coleman said: “Tickets have been increased to 250 places after smashing the 200 mark and due to the high volume of delegate enquiries. We expect these will be popular too so we’d urge people to be quick.”

Registration is open for those who wish to attend the Summit which is free.  Book your place here.
