THAI UNION RECOGNISED WITH DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP

Thai Union recognised with Distinguished Leadership Excellence Award at Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2025. Thai Union Group PCL has been presented with the Distinguished Leadership Excellence Award at the Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2025, organised by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) in collaboration with the Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University. The award was received by Mr. Ludovic Garnier, Chief Financial Officer, from Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr, Vice Minister for Commerce, during a ceremony held at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok.

The award recognises organisations with outstanding leadership and operational excellence, with the aim of strengthening business competitiveness and supporting Thailand’s sustainable economic growth.

Thai Union aligns its sustainability initiatives with globally recognised collective sustainability priorities and programmes.

Together with other organisations, Thai Union believes we can add long-term positive value to society by achieving sustained economic growth, responsible utilisation of natural resources and promotion of human rights and ethical labour practices.

Thai Union is a founding member of Seafood Business for Ocean Stewardship (SeaBOS), a collaboration between ten leading seafood companies and scientists working to lead a global transformation towards sustainable seafood production and a healthy ocean. Thai Union works with SeaBOS members to advance important sustainability goals, such as addressing IUU fishing and forced labour, improving seafood traceability and transparency, working with governments to improve regulations, reducing ocean plastics, and building climate resilience

Thai Union is a member of the United Nations Global Compact, and has been working to implement the commitments in the Global Compact’s Ten Principles since 2013. All of the principles have been incorporated into our Business Ethics and Labour Code of Conduct, which governs not only how their own staff operate but also how they would like their suppliers to operate. This way, they are extending our influence and using business as a powerful force for change.
