Nominations for The Atlantic Canada Marine Industries Hall of Fame are being sought by the North Atlantic Fish and Workboat show.
The deadline to submit nominations for the awards is this Friday, 21st September.
The awards pay a lasting tribute to individuals who have made valuable contributions to any sector of the marine industries in the three award categories.
The Mariner Category – recognises the endeavours of anyone who has worked on the water in any capacity of the marine industry
The Processor Category – recognises individuals working in the processing sector from production line workers through to executives and processing facility owners.
The Builder Category – recognises individuals who do not work on the water or in processing but who have contributed significantly to the industry as a supplier, seafood champion etc.
Companies and individuals are encouraged to submit their nominations by the deadline of 21 September 2018. Click here for more information and to access the nomination forms and further information about the rewards.
The North Atlantic Fish and Workboat Show takes place in St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador , November 16 – 17 2018.
