CARBONARA WITH PRAWNS
Carbonara with prawns. You can’t go wrong with prawns and pasta, and this is the perfect late lunch or dinner! The dish is even tastier with bacon and a creamy cheese sauce. Serve with a fresh salad and crusty bread.

Ingredients
400g peeled and frozen prawns
200g tagliatelle
1onion
2 cloves of garlic
100g smoked bacon
2 egg yolks
300ml milk
4tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
1tsp salt
1tsp pepper
1 pack of salad leaves
Crusty bread
Method
- Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
- Finely chop the onions, garlic and parsley.
- Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a frying pan until crispy and place it on a plate.
- Fry the onion and garlic in a frying pan and set aside.
- Whisk together the egg yolk, milk, parmesan, salt, pepper and parsley, and heat in a saucepan while stirring.
- Add the prawns, pasta, bacon and onion mixture, and mix well.
- Serve the prawn pasta with salad and crusty bread.
