DANISH SUPPLIERS COLLABORATE TO OFFER FULL-SERVICE SOLUTIONS

Danish suppliers collaborate to offer full-service solutions. Innovation and collaboration go hand in hand when 50 Danish suppliers to the fishing industry welcome visitors on Pavilion of Denmark at Nor-Fishing in Trondheim, Norway. Customers, fleet owners, skippers and other visitors can find solutions, where the best Danish experts collaborate on delivering quality solutions to minimise downtime.

“A broad range of companies are represented at Pavilion of Denmark and the Danish suppliers seek collaboration. They each excel in their own fields, which is a stronghold. Together they bring their solutions and customer service to a higher level,” says Martin Winkel Lilleoere, Head of Danish Export – Fish Tech.

Orskov Yard

Reduce downtime
Orskov Yard exhibit together with their subcontractors. The yard repairs, converts, retrofits, and upgrade ships to the fishing industry and joining forces with other Danish suppliers results in an easier process and less downtime for their customers.

“By collaborating with our surrounding specialists’, we become a one-stop-shop for our customers. If we did not offer this service, fleet owners would have to go to one place for electrical work and another for interior. Here, we take care of the entire process,” says Jan Henry Sørensen, Sales Manager at Orskov Yard.

And time is money. Therefore, Orskov Yard coordinate and manage the project so the repair is done as fast as possible.

“Orskov Yard act as a project coordinator. Sometimes more suppliers work on the same area onboard the ship at the same time. We work around the clock, so that the ship is at sea again fast,” Jan Henry Sørensen says.
