TONE HELLESVIK APPOINTED AS SALES MANAGER AT ODE

Tone Hellesvik appointed as sales manager at Ode. Ode are proud to announce that Tone Hellesvik has been appointed as Sales Manager. Tone brings over 30 years of experience in the seafood industry, with expertise in the sales and marketing of whitefish. She joins Ode from her previous position as Sales Director at Nordic Group and has previously served as Sales Director at companies such as Domstein and Terra Seafood.
As Sales Manager, Tone will be responsible for further developing the sales of Ode’s farmed cod to the North American and Nordic markets. In addition, she will be the category manager for frozen products and act as the key liaison between the logistics and sales departments, focusing on analysis, optimisation, planning, and transportation.

About Ode
Ode is Norway’s leading producer of farmed cod, with a vision of making fresh cod available all year round. The company currently operates five sea facilities and has its own hatchery. In early 2024, Ode acquired a processing plant in Vartdal, Ørsta municipality, ensuring control over the entire value chain from cod fry to finished products. Ode employs around 150 people, with 30 located at the company’s headquarters in Ålesund. The sales and logistics team, of which Tone is now a part, consists of seven employees.
