CREAMY PASTA WITH PEAS

Creamy pasta with peas, broccoli and prawns. Pasta with frozen, peeled prawns make a perfect combination – try this easy dish when you are in a hurry and want a tasty meal.

Ingredients

200g peeled and frozen prawns
400g tagliatelle
300ml sour cream
1/2 lemon
100g frozen peas
1/2 head of broccoli
2tsp flat leaf parsley
salt and pepper

Method

  • Cook the pasta as per the packet instructions.
  • Cut the broccoli into florets.
  • Add the peas and broccoli florets for the last 3 minutes of the cooking time.
  • Juice the lemon.
  • Strain the water (keep a couple of tablespoons full) and add the sour cream, lemon juice and parsley.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold in the prawns.

Serve with bread and a sprinkle of parmesan. CREAMY PASTA WITH PEAS
