SPICY SALAD WITH SALMON

Spicy salad with salmon. Enjoy this healthy and tasty Thai inspired salad with salmon as a nice lunch or a light, fresh dinner.

Ingredients

150g salmon fillet, skinned and deboned
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
20g chives
10g red onion
10g fresh parsley

Serve with

Lettuce
Mint leaf
Chili, fried and dried

Method

  • Cut the salmon into bite sized pieces.
  • Heat a pan with a little sesame oil and sear the salmon until cooked.
  • Make Nam Laab by mixing fish sauce, sugar and lime juice together.
  • Add salmon, toasted sesame seeds, chili, red onion, chives and parsley. Mix well.
  • Serve on a plate with lettuce, mint leaves and fried dried chili.
