PUFF PASTRY PARCELS WITH SALMON AND SESAME SEEDS
Puff pastry parcels with salmon and sesame seeds. A simple recipe bringing out the delicate flavour of the salmon at cocktail hour!

Ingredients
600g fresh salmon fillet
1 mozzarella
1 egg
Ready-made puff pastry
White sesame seeds
Fresh basil
Method
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 large squares.
- Fill with a chunk of salmon and a piece of mozzarella cheese and some chopped basil leaves, then seal carefully into a parcel (make a triangle and then bring the side corners together).
- Brush with beaten egg, cover with sesame seeds and bake at 180° for 20 minutes. PUFF PASTRY PARCELS WITH SALMON
Useful tip
Instead of the sesame seeds you could try black or wasabi sesame seeds for a touch of spice. For a fresher flavour, chop chives, mix with sour cream and serve with the warm parcels.
